Ethics & Healthy Boundaries for Helping Professionals

Can we validate and build rapport while holding strong boundaries with our clients? Can an ethics course be supportive and validating, rather than boring and scary? We think so!
Try our ethics course–taught by two seasoned clinicians who know what it’s really like to work in outpatient, residential, and inpatient settings with a variety of challenges. We’ll discuss various ethical codes, including the NAADAC code of ethics. All ethical scenarios used for discussion are REAL. This course includes updated material regarding common boundary challenges and easy recipes for therapeutic responses.
More importantly–we’ll delve into the underlying factors that make us more vulnerable to ethical missteps–including how to better manage your own unique history and attributes. Time will allow for individual questions and class discussion/ feedback.
