Can an ethics course be supportive and validating, rather than boring and scary?  We think so!

Try our ethics course–taught by two seasoned clinicians who know what it’s really like to work in outpatient, residential, and inpatient settings with a variety of challenges.  We’ll discuss the newest version of the NAADAC code of ethics and talk about scenarios in substance use, mental health, and co-occurring therapy that are REAL.

More importantly–we’ll delve into the underlying factors that make us more vulnerable to ethical missteps–including how to better manage your own unique history and attributes.

Course material includes a recorded video of live ethics training, post-test, and feedback form.

Ethics & Healthy Boundaries For Peer Recovery Support Advocates

6 CEUs, $99

Reminder: after payment, please send an email to pacificcrestclinical@gmail.com with student name, student email address, course name, and name of purchaser (if different than student name).

As a peer recovery support advocate, you may be asked to share very personal details about yourself and your recovery–but you may have very limited training and support around how to set healthy boundaries with your recovery information.

In this course, we will define boundaries, learn how to set healthy boundaries, and see examples of healthy vs unhealthy boundaries for peer support recovery advocates. We will learn about the NCPRSS (National Certified Peer Recovery Support Specialist Code of Ethics) as well as the NAADAC code of ethics.

Attendees will be provided with information about how family of origin issues and personal vulnerabilities can impact ethical scenarios. Several real-life ethical peer recovery support scenarios will be presented and discussed.

Course material includes a recorded video of ethics training, post-test, and feedback form.
